Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a dependable, full-time team member for our food manufacturing facility in Pasadena, TX. The role involves moving materials, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean, safe production area. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour with a $1.50 night shift differential for hours from 6 p.m.

to 6 a.m., with 1st shift 5:00 am–1:30 pm. We offer weekly Friday pay, PTO, holidays, health and vision plans, 401(k) with company match, disability coverage, and other company-paid benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 2 years related experience.
• Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day and stand up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility, using material handling equipment such as carts, conveyor belts, and pallet jacks.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas and cleaning and disposing of scrap bracing, cardboard and strapping.
• Placing items in proper containers or designated areas.
• Using lists to determine and count quantities of product moving throughout the facility and conducting intermediate material audits.
• Other duties as assigned (such as general maintenance work around the facility and processing of load sheets).
