Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Material Handler to support operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products within the facility in Lewisville, TX. The role requires hands-on use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to ensure accurate stocking and replenishment.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, pulling and staging materials, and maintaining safe, orderly work areas while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to operate hand scanner and pallet jack.
• Able to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Standing up to 8 hours daily and able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move and stock materials and finished products to designated areas.
• Unload and store stock in Bulk storage areas.
• Provide replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner.
• Pull and stock correct product to boxes and pick locations.
• Transfer finished products to designated areas.
• Stack empty skids and pallets in designated areas.
• Operate a manual and/or motorized pallet jack.
• Report issues to the manager and assist with problem resolution.

Essential Job Functions *

• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Operational Equipment

• Hand-held RF Scanner, manual/motorized pallet jack

Work Environment

Material Handler Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands

Material Handler Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
