We are Systems, LLC, a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.

The Materials Handler is responsible for the receipt of all incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and returned goods. The Materials Handler also uses a forklift to route and deliver materials to storage locations or manufacturing areas, and labels and inventories items.

Description of Duties and Job Responsibilities
  1. Check goods received against purchase orders or receiving slips, maintain records, and prepare receiving reports.
  2. Verify quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc., to properly identify materials.
  3. Route or deliver materials to storage or manufacturing locations.
  4. Label, store, and inventory items.
  5. Process warranty items, such as entering Returned Goods Authorization into the database.
  6. Work with Purchasing and Inventory Control to maintain accurate inventory levels and make necessary adjustments.
  7. Cross-train in the shipper position, responsible for preparing domestic and international shipments according to requirements.
  8. Operate forklifts and cranes, maintaining necessary certifications.
  9. This is a safety-sensitive position.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of shipping/receiving experience in a heavy manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a heavy metals manufacturing industry.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations such as email, databases, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

The pay range for this position is $18-$19 per hour. The offered pay may vary depending on factors such as location, education, training, and experience. In addition to base pay, a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) contributions are provided (benefits are subject to eligibility).

This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan, subject to plan terms and policies.
