Position Details:

• This position may be filled as an Operator, Material I, II or Sr depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Job Summary/Purpose:

Under general supervision, provide storeroom and inventory management services including purchasing, issuing and receiving supplies and materials, and maintain records necessary to properly record, issue or receive all inventory. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accounting requirements (e.g., Sarbanes Oxley, Fixed Assets, etc.).

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate storeroom, issue/receive supplies, and stock materials efficiently.
• Maintain records for inventory issues and receipts.
• Take inventories and oversee other storeroom employees.
• Operate equipment used in handling materials.
• Be available for overtime when needed.
• Purchase materials and perform monthly credit card reconciliation.
• Work directly with outage planner and/or planner/scheduler.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• Material Operator I: 1–2 years in a warehouse.
• Material Operator II: 2–3 years in a warehouse.
• Material Operator Sr: 3+ years in a warehouse.

Preferred:

• Prior storeroom experience.
• Logistics management experience in a warehouse.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of inventory management practices.
• Proficiency with computer applications.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of storeroom regulatory and accounting requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with staff.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Current Driver’s License.

Location: Sallis, Mississippi.

Job Function: Skilled / Craft.

FLSA Status: Nonexempt.

Travel Percentage: 50% to 75%.
