Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support material movement, shipping and receiving, and inventory control in our on-site facility. You will learn CI principles and participate in safety programs.

You will operate forklifts and RF scanners, stage drums and materials for production, inspect equipment, and ensure accurate labeling. The role requires English proficiency, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and compliance with PPE and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 months of relevant experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to become certified.
  • Ability to read English and operate handheld devices (RF scanners).

Responsibilities

Job description

Disclaimer: SLB completed the acquisition of ChampionX on July 16, 2025. If selected for this position, your employment will begin with ChampionX and will transition to SLB as part of the planned integration.

What You Will Do
  • Exhibit safe work habits and comply with all company safety regulations and guidelines
  • Assist with material movement throughout warehouse and manufacturing areas
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities for order fulfillment and inventory replenishment
  • Load and unload containerized and bulk materials from transport trucks, including sampling and required approvals
  • Stage drums, totes, and materials for production and shipment
  • Operate forklifts and RF scanning devices to move, track, and store materials
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and ensure safe operation of equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory control, labeling of goods, and sample management
  • Support quality improvement processes and participate in team-based initiatives
  • Apply spill containment and cleanup procedures when required
  • Ensure vendors and contractors adhere to plant safety policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to team performance goals
  • Participate in safety meetings, planning committees, and team functions
  • Learn and apply Continuous Improvement (CI) principles in daily tasks
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months of relevant experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
  • Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to become certified
  • Ability to operate handheld or mounted computer devices (RF scanners, etc.)
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • Willingness to wear required PPE, including respirators and fall protection
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement or Lean principles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Position Details: Work Environment
  • On-site, supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations
  • Ability to work various shifts as required
  • Role is safety-sensitive
Physical Demands

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; ability to bend, squat, reach overhead, and perform physical tasks; ability to climb stairs and ladders. Role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
