Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is seeking a technically capable professional to develop proposals and deliver customer-focused solutions. You will present to clients, address technical questions, and work with hardware, software, and system engineers to tailor implementations that meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical proposals to meet customer needs and integration requirements.

  • Coordinate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to tailor solutions.
  • Respond to customer queries and troubleshoot during/after implementation.
  • Train customers on product features and usage.

What You Will Do:
  • Develop technical proposals of how the organization’s products and services can meet customer needs and be integrated and implemented with the customer’s existing systems and equipment.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and respond to technical questions regarding the organization’s product, system, or service.
  • Estimate the costs, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the organization’s products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Liaise with hardware, software, and systems design engineers to ensure that products and services are modified, configured, and installed according to customer needs.
  • Respond to customer questions and troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems that arise during or after implementation.
  • Train customers on the features of the product or service they have purchased.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US; no Visa sponsorship offered for this position.
  • Expertise to provide technical advice during larger or difficult negotiations, or with customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers.
  • Strong customer skills including the ability to explain and train.
  • Follow all safety policies and company‑wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively.
  • Work in excess of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, as required to meet business needs.
  • Work in an unsupervised environment.
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Use a computer to communicate, create, and access data.
Physical Demands:
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time.
  • Grasping: applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
  • Feeling: perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
  • Talking: expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to customers or other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing: perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; receiving detailed information through oral communication, and making discriminations in sound.
  • Sitting: may sit for extended periods of time.
  • Moving around the office: moving between desk and file cabinets and/or office equipment.
  • Repetitive motion: substantial movement (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers to use a computer.
  • Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, determining accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work, or making general observations of facilities or structures.
