Job summary

Broan-NuTone in Wisconsin is seeking a manufacturing associate to support unloading/loading, moving materials, and prepping production lines at our facility. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork to help keep operations running smoothly.

You will operate equipment, assist with dies and counts, participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift truck to unload/load trucks and move material across manufacturing areas.
• Place and unload components on racks as needed.
• Count, repack components and supply production lines.
• Place and remove dies from presses.
• Dump scrap and record weight correctly.
• Operate scales, overhead crane, coil tipper, scanners, PC and RF devices.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Perform 5S duties and participate in Continuous Improvement.
• Follow established procedures to complete assignments.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and work hours as needed.
• Physically lift 35–50 lb as required.

• Operate lift truck to unload or load trucks and move both raw and in-process material to and from various manufacturing areas as instructed.

• Place components on racks or unload components from racks as needed.

• Count and repack components and supply production lines.

• Place and remove dies from various Presses.

• Dump scrap and record weight into proper luger.

• Operate various equipment including, weigh and count scales, overhead crane with attachments, coil tipper, scanners, PC and RF.

• Complete required paperwork.

• Perform 5S duties and participate in Continuous Improvement.

• Complete work assignments following established procedures.

• Job Requirements:

• Follow all safety requirements.

• Work hours to meet business needs.

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/carry 35 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
