Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Columbus, OH seeks a team member to safely operate equipment used for moving packages, pallets, and heavy freight. You will assist in pallet buildup/breakdown and serve as liaison with ULD repair vendors as needed.

This is a part-time evening shift role with pay between $18.79 and $25.97 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA, and educational assistance up to $5,250 per year.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Walk and stand for designated hours; bend and squat as required.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and in enclosed spaces; travel as needed.
• Must complete basic and currency training; communicate effectively in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment for movement of packages and heavy freight.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
