Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a team member to operate equipment safely for the movement of packages and heavy freight, assist with pallet buildup/breakdown, and liaise with the ULD repair vendor as needed. The role requires the ability to lift heavy loads, work in weather conditions, and communicate in a noisy operations environment.

Evening Shift: Mon to Fri (7PM–11PM), Pay rate: 17.89 per hour. A drug screen and a criminal background check are required, and a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
