Job summary

FedEx in Wisconsin is seeking a warehouse associate to safely operate equipment used for moving packages and heavy freight. You will assist with pallet buildup and breakdown and work as a liaison with ULD repair vendors when required.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to work in varying weather and busy environments. A valid driver’s license is required for certain duties, and part-time schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours. Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces; stack packages as needed; work in all weather conditions.
• Must communicate timely and effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
