Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) in Livonia, MI, is hiring a Material Handler to support efficient movement and storage of materials throughout the facility. You will operate sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks to move items between receiving, storage, and production areas.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, experience in shipping or warehouse, ability to read work instructions, basic computer skills, and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse in manufacturing.
• Ability to read work instructions and manuals.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory software.
• Experience operating forklifts/PIT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks to move materials between receiving, storage, and production areas.
• Locate materials by pulling and verifying production orders.
• Deliver materials to workstations and remove finished goods promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe warehouse; ensure proper storage locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report shortages.
• Perform daily fork truck maintenance checks and 5S compliance.
• Support shipping/receiving/packaging as needed.
