Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) in Livonia, MI is seeking a Material Handler for onsite, full-time work. You will move materials between receiving, storage, and production, ensuring accurate inventory and timely delivery to workstations.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, maintaining a clean warehouse, and supporting shipping/receiving activities. A high school diploma and warehouse experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, manuals and other written correspondence.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory management software.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks (e.g. forklifts).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks to move items between receiving, storage, and production areas.
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials listed on production orders.
• Deliver materials to workstations and remove finished goods or scrap promptly.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized and safe; ensure aisles are clear and materials stored properly.
• Maintain inventory by labeling, tracking locations, and reporting shortages.
• Perform daily forklift maintenance checks and adhere to 5S and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team to identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Assist with other shipping/receiving/packaging tasks as needed.
