Responsibilities include inspecting fixtures, wiring parts to racks, moving steel, and using basic tools to support the galvanizing process. Candidate should be physically capable and quality-minded.

Qualifikationen

• Must read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Capable of communicating problems or needs to supervision.
• Lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.
• Stand for long periods in an open air environment with PPE.
• Maintain high safety awareness at all times.
• Demonstrate passion and reliability with results.

Aufgaben

• Inspect production fixtures, chains and hooks for safe use.
• Hand wire small to medium parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing.
• Pull and place chains and ropes around steel for racking.
• Move lightweight steel pieces by hand around the plant.
• Paddling to enhance galvanizing quality using air guns to remove zinc needles.
• Use air or electric tools to prep or clean steel for galvanizing.
• Assist in general plant cleanup and housekeeping.
• Work safely to protect self and others from injury.
