Job summary

Orgill in Tifton, GA, is seeking a warehouse associate to support the distribution center by efficiently picking merchandise across zones and labeling cartons for easy scanning. Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include accurate picking, unit identification, damage control, order preparation, and transporting orders to Shipping. Must meet quality and productivity standards and follow supervisor directions.

• Must be able to accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.
• Must be able to accurately identify units of measure.
• Must be able to identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise.
• Must be able to accurately prepare orders and transport to Shipping Department.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices.
• Excellent attendance record
• Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed
• Good comprehension, organizational, and math skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
• Ability to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
• Must be a team player with a can do attitude
• Power Equipment certification a plus
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
