Job summary

Orgill is seeking a warehouse/ DC associate in Tifton, GA to support stocking inbound merchandise to designated locations. The role requires operating lift equipment, using scanners, and maintaining accurate locations with a focus on safety and reliability.

The position follows a 4 AM–12 PM Monday–Friday schedule with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour and up. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, good math and communication skills, and be prepared for overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transfer merchandise using stand up reach truck, sit down forklift, stock picker and/or pallet jack.
• Operate a handheld scanner.
• Identify and place inbound merchandise using receiving labels.
• Identify merchandise and maintain primary pick locations.
• Determine correct units of measure for placement of merchandise.
• Communicate stocking errors to coworkers.
• Meet quality and productivity standards.
• Take direction from Supervisor.
• Maintain excellent attendance and reliability.
• Follow DC housekeeping guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Primary Function

Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by, efficiently stocking inbound merchandise to designated locations in a timely manner.

Schedule and Pay

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 4 AM - 12 PM

Pay: $18.00 and up

Specific Responsibilities

• Must be able to transfer merchandise by using a stand up reach truck, sit down forklift, stock picker and/or pallet jack from staging area to primary pick locations and back to stock locations.
• Must be able to operate a handheld scanner.
• Must be able to understand the receiving label placed on the inbound merchandise to identify and place the merchandise into assigned locations.
• Must be able to identify merchandise and maintain primary pick locations.
• Must be able to accurately identify units of measure for proper placement of merchandise.
• Directly communicates with co-workers any identified location stocking errors.
• Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to take direction from Supervisor.
• Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must
• Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines
• Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.*
