Material Handler - Full Time (Warehouse-like)

Job Duties

1. Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods, and ULDs.
2. Assists in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
3. Serves as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, stacking packages above head if required.
• Work in all weather conditions if required at the location.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required.
• Successfully complete all basic and re-currency training.
• Effective communication in a noisy environment.

Job Conditions

• Non-covered safety sensitive position.
• Medical exam required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license to operate motorized conveyances.
