V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Material Handler to join our team!

The Material Handler will perform tasks aligned with Core Logistics functions such as Receiving, Storing, Issuing, Inventory, Mail, Delivery, Packing, and Shipping. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading and moving unclassified materials on and off trucks, within the plant, warehouses, and offsite locations, using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and cranes.
• Unloading materials onto or off pallets, trays, racks, and shelves manually or with equipment.
• Opening containers using hand tools.
• Prioritizing mail and materials for processing.
• Inspecting materials for damage and reporting issues.
• Identifying and verifying materials against documentation and systems.
• Performing manual and weight counts.
• Updating logs and documentation accordingly.
• Following instructions to process or move items.
• Labeling and tagging materials appropriately.
• Calculating packaging requirements and dimensions.
• Using various equipment like sealers, saws, label printers, and scanners, ensuring proper maintenance.
• Conducting safety walks and maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
• Adjusting warehouse layouts and organizing storage areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in core logistics functions such as Storing, Issuing, Inventory, and Delivery.
• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
• Ability to lift weights per OSHA and company guidelines.

Education:

High School diploma or GED.
