Job summary

Specialty Building Products in Pekin, IL is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler to perform shipping, receiving and stocking warehouse material. As part of the Operations team, you will help others, follow safety policies, and work in a safe manner using the WMS.

Starting pay is $22/hour with full benefits. Shift starts at 7:30am and finishes when the day’s work is completed. 1-2 years warehouse experience and a High School Diploma are preferred; teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience required.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Proven ability to work as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and replenish warehouse locations.
• Pick orders using forklift until filled.
• Use handheld scanners for receiving, picking, loading and cycle counting.
• Collaborate with WMS Coordinator on questions and updates.
• Band, wrap and prepare material for shipping.
• Arrange orders on trucks with safe weight distribution.
• Follow safety procedures.
