Job summary

Amerhart, Ltd. in Pekin, IL is hiring a 1st shift Material Handler to perform shipping, receiving and stocking duties in our warehouse. You will operate a forklift, use a handheld scanner and work with the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to keep inventory flowing safely and accurately.

Starting pay is $22 per hour with full benefits. Shift starts at 7:30am and work finishes for the day. We value teamwork, safety and continuous improvement as essential parts of every day’s work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Proven ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and replenish warehouse locations.
• Pick orders using forklift and report shortages or damage.
• Use handheld scanner for receiving, picking, loading, and cycle counting.
• Coordinate with WMS Coordinator on questions and updates.
• Band, wrap and prepare material for shipment.
