Job summary

Charcuterie Artisans is seeking a Material Handler to move, stage, and prepare materials for production. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain organized workspaces, and ensure materials are available where needed.

This role requires adapting to cold-storage areas and following FIFO procedures. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire if not currently certified.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials from storage to production areas and designated destinations.
• Supply production areas with raw materials, packaging materials and supplies.
• Prepare and stage components, materials and work orders as needed.
• Perform basic material prep including labeling, wrapping and sorting.
• Maintain clean and organized staging areas; follow FIFO procedures.
