Job description

Pay: $22.15/hr + shift premium and pay rate increases every 6 months!

*pay does not reflect shift premium

Shifts/Schedule:

5:00pm to 5:30am 2,2,3. Off every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

What You Will Do:

  1. Forklift Operators are responsible for supplying production lines with necessary materials, removing goods from production lines as necessary to support production needs, load and/or unload semi-trailers, wrapping and/or storing materials, utilizing partial pallets and the first in first out (FIFO) inventory management method. All inventory must be accurately managed using the plant's inventory management system (BES), including all movement of product.
  2. Please Note: The physical demands of this job may vary from day to day based on the tasks assigned, and the nature of these tasks are performed in an environment containing many potential variables. It is therefore important to note that this description does not capture all potential tasks related to the position noted and may include tasks that are not applicable to all forklift classifications. Due to these factors, key tasks were captured, typical of the day-to-day work performed and may be modified by management.
  3. As a Material Handler you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials at the lines.
  4. The Material Handler is responsible for staging each production line with the proper materials.
  5. Verify quantities received and perform incoming inspections.
  6. Load finished products on trucks that are ready to be shipped to customers.
  7. Responsible for moving finished products, raw materials, and parts to different locations in the plant.
  8. Perform daily production cycle counts.

What We Look For:

  1. 1+ year of forklift experience in a manufacturing setting.
  2. Must be able to operate stand up forklift.
  3. Comfortable working 12-hour days as needed.
  4. Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  5. Basic computer skills.
  6. Basic math, reading and writing skills.
  7. Must be able to wear required PPE.
