Job summary

Lippert is seeking a team-oriented material handler in Fitzgerald, GA to move raw materials and finished chassis through production at our facility. You will support area teams, rotate through production stages, and ensure safe, accurate material flow.

The role requires lifting up to 50+ pounds, forklift operation experience, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team to achieve company goals.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Able to read and process work orders, receipts, prints and measurements.
• Able to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate a lift truck or tractor as needed.
• Can operate equipment including radios, tape measures and stabilization devices.
• Physically able to lift and move items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Observance of all safety rules and policies.
• Maintenance of raw material inventory and unloading deliveries.
• Coordinate paperwork at material receipt.
• Move raw materials through production areas.
• Move chassis through production areas.
• Transfer completed chassis to holding or coating areas.
• Move completed chassis to drying/holding areas.
• Maintain exterior yard area (plowing, grading).
• Rotate through production team structure as needed.
• Assist in repair work as necessary.
