Job summary

Carl Buddig & Company in Montgomery, IL is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift. You will operate a forklift, deliver baskets to lines, reweigh and rework as needed, and help keep the area organized and safe per USDA and GMP guidelines.

Must be 18+, legally work in the US, and have or be pursuing a High School Diploma/GED; prior forklift experience is preferred. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in cold, fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Two or more years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to scan and deliver meat baskets to packaging lines.
• Reweigh baskets and place them back in the cooler as needed.
• Audit rework vats and wrap them after completion.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and follow GMPs.
• Deliver pallets to shipping and assist with palletization and loading.
