Job summary

Carl Buddig & Company in Montgomery, IL is seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator/Material Handler. You will move meat baskets on packaging lines using a forklift, reweigh baskets, and support safe, efficient packaging per USDA guidelines.

Candidates should be at least 18, eligible to work in the United States, with a high school diploma or GED preferred and forklift experience (2+ years) preferred. The job requires standing 8–9 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States.
• Two or more years of related forklift work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift to move meat baskets along packaging lines accurately and safely.
• Reweigh meat baskets and return to cooler as needed.
• Audit rework vats and ensure proper rotation and GMP compliance.
• Deliver pallets to shipping area using forklift and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
