Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift in Atlanta. You will move and stage products, support converting equipment, and ensure accurate tagging and documentation for GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include inspecting finished goods, loading trucks, maintaining production records, and upholding safety procedures. Prior forklift experience and experience in a manufacturing setting are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Prior forklift experience and ability to operate safely.
• Experience in a manufacturing or corrugated setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production records and tags.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage products and support converting equipment.
• Inspect tags, ensure correct identification, and transfer to storage areas.
• Scan and containerize finished product for receiving area.
• Load trucks after cleaning and inspection, and complete daily records.
• Maintain GMP compliance and safety procedures.
