Job summary

Bay Insulation of Tennessee Inc is seeking a Material Handler to support the laminating operation by loading, unloading, and moving fiberglass insulation and facing materials. You will operate forklifts and maintain accurate documentation to keep production flowing safely.

This role requires reading Bills of Lading and packing slips, keeping inventory records, and ensuring proper storage and labeling. You will follow OSHA standards, perform daily forklift inspections, and help keep the warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling operations preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Familiarity with fiberglass insulation, facing materials, or metal building insulation manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, Bills of Lading, Picking Lists, and Packing Slips accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support material handling and production flow for laminating.
• Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished rolls using forklifts.
• Verify incoming shipments against orders and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ERP data.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report issues.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
