Job summary

The Bay Family of Companies is hiring a Material Handler to support the laminating operation by loading, unloading, and moving fiberglass insulation and facing materials. You will ensure accurate documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips, and operate forklifts safely in a production environment.

You will monitor material flow, assist with shipping and receiving, and maintain inventory records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Familiarity with fiberglass insulation or metal building insulation preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, Bills of Lading, Picking Lists, and Packing Slips accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Basic computer and inventory management proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport fiberglass insulation and facing materials.
• Operate forklifts and related material handling equipment safely.
• Ensure correct delivery of materials to production areas.
• Prepare shipments and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain organized storage and labeling of goods.
• Support production and shipping to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
• Conduct daily safety checks and follow OSHA standards.
• Keep work areas clean and free of debris.
