Job summary

nVent is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support our production team in Georgia. You will coordinate material movements, replenish carts, inspect equipment, and maintain clean, organized dock and storage areas.

Responsibilities include retrieving parts, cycle counts, assisting material clerks, building dunnage, and disposing of crates and pallets. A high school diploma or GED is required; forklift operation is a must. Join a global leader in electrical protection solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to drive forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve parts and materials for all jobs as needed by installers.
• Replenish point of use carts with needed materials daily.
• Perform daily inspections on forklifts and scissor lifts to ensure operation.
• Maintain cleanliness of dock, rack storage, and outside areas.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness around build pods.
• Perform cycle counts on floor items as directed.
• Assist material clerks with movements of customer-owned property.
• Build dunnage for shipping service material.
• Dispose of crates and pallets in designated dumpsters.
• Empty trash, cardboard, and metal containers.
