Job summary

B-TEK Scales, LLC, a Canton-based manufacturer of high-capacity weighing solutions, is seeking a Material Handler to move material around the plant using forklift and crane. The position involves packaging, weighing, loading/unloading, stocking, and staging to support efficient production.

The role demands a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety, accuracy, and on-time material handling on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Experience reading BOMs and blueprints.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Ability to bend, lift, stand for 8–10 hours daily and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Follow standard work procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Move material around plant using a forklift and/or overhead crane.
• Package, weigh, load, unload, stock, and stage material.
• Receive material and stock to proper locations.
• Pack prep material for shipment and load/unload trucks.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain safety standards.
• Support inventory and optimize material flow on the shop floor.
