Job summary

B-TEK Scales, LLC in Canton, OH is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift on a full-time, hourly basis. The role supports the plant floor by moving material with a forklift and crane, receiving and stocking parts, and staging items for shipments.

Applicants should have strong organizational skills, basic math and measuring abilities, and the capacity to lift up to 60 lbs. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic math and measuring skills are required to verify quantities and dimensions.
• Attention to detail and understanding of production flow are essential.
• Experience reading BOMs and blueprints is preferred.
• Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes is required.

Responsibilities

• Move material around the plant using a forklift and/or overhead crane.
• Package, weigh, load, unload, stock, and stage material in a timely manner.
• Receive material and stock to the proper plant locations.
• Pack prep material for shipment and prepare items for loading.
• Follow standard work procedures and adhere to safety standards.
