Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Willis, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load and unload materials, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and help maintain inventory. You will follow safety procedures and use ERP for daily updates.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and certification to operate forklift and overhead crane. We offer full-time hours with comprehensive benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
