Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Conroe, Texas, is seeking a branch associate to support loading and unloading materials, process customer orders safely and accurately, and help maintain a clean, organized work area. You will operate a forklift and overhead crane while coordinating with team members to meet daily goals.

Required are 18+ years old, high school diploma or GED, the ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification, and the capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location.
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
