Job summary

Schaeffler Group USA Inc., located in Fort Mill, SC, seeks a Logistics Associate to perform loading/unloading, prepare deliveries, and move materials across plants. You will follow strict safety rules and operate PPE at all times.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, English language proficiency, and the ability to lift heavy objects. SAP experience and flexibility with shifts are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation.
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers.
• Deliver raw materials and goods to designated location in the plants.
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports.
• Pick, pack and label different goods (raw material, components, finished goods).
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system.
• Follow safety and production rules and use PPE at all times.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers
• Deliver raw materials and goods to designated location in the plants
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Your Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic computer knowledge and MS office skills
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with IT & SAP systems
• Ability to operate transportation machinery
