Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Logistics Handler in Fort Mill, SC. You will load/unload goods, manage documentation, prepare driver tours, and move materials to designated locations within plants. The role requires following safety rules and basic IT system use.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years in logistics, SAP/IT experience, and the ability to operate transportation machinery. Shift premiums and a 401k/insurance package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
• Minimum of two years of experience in logistics (preferred).
• Experience with IT & SAP systems (preferred).
• Ability to operate transportation machinery (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Your Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic computer knowledge and MS office skills
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required

Preferred:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with IT & SAP systems
• Ability to operate transportation machinery
• Salary Range: $21.20 - $23.85
• 2nd and 3rd shift premium available
• Hiring Bonus: $1,500 paid out in steps
