Job summary

Mccormick-Paints in Maryland's countryside is seeking a Warehouse/Distribution Center Associate to support stock pulling, loading/unloading freight, and inventory control. The role requires reading store orders, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will use handheld scanners, operate forklifts/electric pallet jacks, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist in routine equipment care while maintaining accurate records and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in material handling.
• Ability to read and interpret store orders for materials pulled.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pull stock to fill orders accurately.
• Load and unload inbound & outbound freight with accurate documentation.
• Receive/process shipments and move/stack materials.
• Rotate floor stock and manage inventory fulfillment.
• Provide administrative support to Distribution Center Manager.
• Assist other warehouse staff as required and report issues promptly.
• Operate forklifts/electric pallet jacks safely and maintain equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of machinery in the distribution warehouse.
