Interstates in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Material Handler to move, stage, and deliver materials to Electrical Assemblers, supporting a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

You will operate forklifts, maintain inventory, and help prepare panels for shipment while collaborating with production leads to keep material flow steady. This role offers weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Prior material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedures, and schedules.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and deliver materials and electrical components to Electrical Assemblers based on production needs.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the Panel Shop and manufacturing facility.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming materials and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track material movement within the facility.
• Prepare finished panels and assemblies for shipment, including securing and protecting products from damage.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain an organized inventory of materials, parts, shipping supplies, and other manufacturing resources.
• Work closely with Electrical Assemblers and Production Leads to prioritize material needs and help keep production moving.
• Support shipping and receiving activities and assist with resolving material or shipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
