Job summary

Interstates in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Material Handler to join our Manufacturing Team. You will pull, stage, move and deliver materials to Electrical Assemblers, verify incoming shipments, and maintain organized inventory.

This role supports a safe, efficient production flow and works closely with Production Leads to keep material supply aligned with needs. Responsibilities include forklift operation, receiving and labeling materials, preparing shipments, and ensuring a clean, organized

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in material handling, inventory, or warehouse preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and schedules.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple requests.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and deliver materials and electrical components to Assemblers based on production needs.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials within the Panel Shop and facility.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming materials; report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track material movement.
• Prepare finished panels and assemblies for shipment and secure items for transport.
