Job summary

SERFILCO is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our production team. You will receive, store, organize, and deliver materials to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, and mechanically inclined, with 3–5 years of material handling experience and proficiency with material-handling equipment. A strong focus on accuracy and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 to 5 years previous material handling experience in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating material-handling equipment (tier-lift trucks, hand trucks, pallet lifters, carts, cranes) safely.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and SOPs.
• Knowledge designing and building customized packaging solutions (wooden crates, boxes, pallets) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against records.
• Load/unload materials and move to proper storage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production workstations.
• Package and ship finished goods with accurate labeling.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Follow safety policies and keep work area clean.
