thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC is hiring for a warehouse role focused on moving raw materials, finished goods, and equipment on the shop floor with a forklift. The position involves selecting, packing, loading, and unloading orders, counting cycles, and identifying defective materials.

You will follow safety plans and 6S initiatives while performing basic paperwork and cleanup tasks. This on-site role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, basic math, and prior forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, must read and write French).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. for 100 feet.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Safety mindset.

Responsabilités

• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Loads and unloads trucks and verifies correct items loaded/unloaded.
• Picking, processing and packing orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle counts.
• Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.
• General clean up.
• Inspects forklift at start of shift; reports issues to supervisor.
• Participates in health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives as required.
• Assists in other duties to support the operation.

May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision.
