Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services, Inc. is seeking a warehouse operator to move materials and products on the shop floor. You will use a forklift and other equipment to load/unload, stock, pick, and package orders, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, defect handling, paperwork, and maintaining a safe work environment. The role requires pre-employment drug testing and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years warehousing experience, metals industry preferred.
• History of consistent dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs for 100 ft.
• Must have forklift certification.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Pre-employment drug testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment using forklift and other moving equipment.
• Accurately remove, stock, and select products per inventory plan and fill customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks and verify correct items.
• Perform cycle counts and identify/hold defective material.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain clean work area.
• Inspect forklift at shift start and report issues; follow safety and 6S guidelines.
• Train other team members when required.
• Participate in health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives and requirements.
• Assist in other duties to support operations; train others when required.

May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. May perform other general warehouse functions in support of operational requirements.
