Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a reliable material handler to operate forklift equipment and support safe, efficient plant flow. You will move materials, load and unload pallets, and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy on the shop floor.

In this role, you will comply with safety and regulatory requirements, participate in training, and rotate through responsibilities to support our ESOP-driven, quality-focused team in a high-volume automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious and compliant with all rules and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous material handling work experience preferred.
• Previous HiLo/forklift driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in needs analysis and attend scheduled training programs.
• Assist in continuous improvement activities and independent auditing as requested.
• Move levers and control forklift to transport loads safely and efficiently.
• Position forks and lift devices to load/unload pallets, skid, or materials; transport to designated area.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers as needed.
