Job summary

Jabil is opening a new 300,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Prince George, VA. The Material Handler will receive, verify, store, and distribute materials to support manufacturing operations with a focus on inventory accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include using ERP systems, RF scanners, forklifts, and other equipment to maintain efficient material flow. Prior experience in warehousing and SAP is advantageous, with a competitive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, receiving, or material handling operations preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Proficiency using RF scanners and inventory management systems.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience required; certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, inventory control, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt of incoming materials, including unloading shipments, verifying quantities and documentation, and performing system transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Receive, store, stage, and issue materials to support production schedules and operational requirements.
• Perform inventory and material transactions using ERP systems and RF scanning devices.
• Transport materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment.
• Verify material quantities, part numbers, and inventory accuracy prior to issuance.
• Support line-side replenishment, inventory control, cycle counts, and stock audits.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with FIFO and traceability requirements.
• Load, unload, and move materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse and production support environment.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
