Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate receipt, storage and movement of materials. You will use ERP systems, RF scanners, forklifts, and pallet jacks to keep inventory precise and production flowing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling operations preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems required; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners/RF guns for inventory transactions and material tracking preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience required; certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own all material movement to stock including dock to stock, material requisition order (MRO), PCB, floor returns, and system transactions.
• Issue all material from stock including transfers, kits, manual pulls, highly marketable parts (HMP) and system transactions.
• Ensure accuracy by performing all transactions correctly and verifying whenever necessary.
• Cycle count whenever necessary.
• Receive, store, stage, and distribute materials to production areas in accordance with production schedules.
• Perform material transactions in ERP systems to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
