Jabil in Prince George, VA is opening a new 300,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and seeks a Material Handler III to support receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials. You will help ensure production teams have the right materials at the right time while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.

This role requires five years in material handling or related fields, ERP experience (SAP preferred), RF scanning, forklift operation, and strong organizational and analytical skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in material handling, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing support.
• Experience working within ERP systems required; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Experience utilizing RF scanners (RF guns) for material tracking and inventory transactions required.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience required; certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Experience performing cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, inventory audits, and discrepancy investigations required.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes, warehouse operations, material traceability, and manufacturing material flow.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for up to 10-12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced material handling and inventory control activities across receiving, warehouse, stockroom, production, and shipping operations.
• Execute and verify ERP system transactions including receipts, transfers, replenishments, returns, inventory adjustments, and material dispositions.
• Utilize RF scanners and inventory management systems to maintain material traceability and inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, material shortages, transaction errors, and location variances.
• Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, recounts, and inventory reconciliations to ensure inventory integrity.
• Support receiving, shipping, stockroom, and work-in-process (WIP) activities as needed.
• Verify inventory transactions and documentation to ensure accurate physical and system inventory movement.
• Monitor inventory levels and elevate material shortages, transaction issues, and inventory concerns when necessary.
• Support inventory purge activities, obsolete material reviews, and disposition processes.
• Maintain FIFO practices, inventory organization, and proper storage standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain teams to support operational objectives and resolve material-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow, and warehouse efficiency.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, environmental, and security policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
