Job summary

Jabil is expanding with a new manufacturing facility in Prince George, VA. The Material Handler III will manage complex inventory transactions, maintain accuracy, and support warehouse and production operations, leveraging ERP/SAP, RF scanning, and safety best practices.

The role emphasizes independent work, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time material flow and compliance with 5S standards. Starting pay is $25.00/hour with a 6:00am–2:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years in material handling, inventory control, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing support.
• ERP systems experience; SAP preferred.
• RF scanner experience for material tracking.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience; certification preferred.
• Cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy investigations.
• Strong inventory control and warehouse knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced material handling and inventory control across receiving, warehouse, stockroom, production, and shipping.
• Execute ERP transactions: receipts, transfers, replenishments, returns, adjustments and dispositions.
• Use RF scanners to maintain material traceability and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliations to ensure integrity.
• Support receiving, shipping, stockroom, and WIP activities as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and escalate shortages or issues.
• Maintain FIFO and proper storage standards; ensure 5S practices.
