Northeast Arc Heritage Shredding in Danvers, MA is seeking a dependable Material Handler II/Driver to join the Day Services team. The role combines secure document destruction service with safe transportation for individuals served, supporting warehouse and shredding operations and performing equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate is reliable, mechanically inclined, and committed to safety and confidentiality, with a Massachusetts driver’s license and a willingness to follow HIPAA and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license is required.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, or material handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate shredding machinery following safety procedures.
• Maintain shredding machinery and report malfunctions.
• Ensure non-shredded materials remain secure and confidential.
• Follow HIPAA requirements and 'Nothing Leaves' procedures.
• Operate balers according to instructions and safety requirements.
• Complete shredding pickups, hard drive destruction, and destruction of other media as assigned.
• Transport Shredding Associates to program locations safely.
• Adhere to Northeast Arc policies and state vehicle laws.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
