Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler in Newark, CA to support shipping, receiving and order fulfillment. You will load/unload materials, prepare shipments, maintain records and assist with inventory on the floor.

Requirements include 1–2 years shipping experience, a valid driver’s license, basic English, and a commitment to safety, 5S and continuous improvement. This ITAR facility requires US citizenship or lawful permanent residency.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of shipping experience with domestic and international documentation.
Valid driver’s license required.
Able to read English and communicate well with others.
Familiarity with 5S and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of safety warehouse rules; ITAR facility awareness.

Responsibilities

Loads and unloads material onto/from pallets, weighing up to 60 pounds.
Packages, crates, crates/uncrates, and labels items for shipping.
Primary contact for customer and internal management on shipping activities.
Coordinates with customers and suppliers to resolve shipping discrepancies promptly.
Closes work orders and records shipping data in the computer system.
Overtime may be required; adheres to safety warehouse rules.
Leads and participates in 5S and warehouse continuous improvement activities.
Drives a box van/truck and operates a forklift; valid license required.
