Maple Donuts, LLC is seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our on-site team in Spry, PA. You will move skids, assist packaging, and help maintain accurate production records during shifts.
Responsibilities include stocking pallets, labeling, coordinating with shift leads, and ensuring safe, compliant operation of the packing lines in a fast-paced bakery environment. A high school diploma or GED and forklift experience are preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Employee is required to take an initial forklift test and will be observed at least every three years to maintain license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: The Employee must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. The Employee must have the ability to write simple correspondence. The Employee must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: The Employee must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: The Employee must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must have ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic computer skills are desirable but not required for this level at this time.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee is required to stand and reach with hands and arms; frequently required to walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Must be able to climb or balance. Employee must be able to speak and hear. Employee is required to move skids from production areas and set up production and packing lines. Employee will be working in different environments from hot to cold, during the shift and may be required to wear a coat and gloves for protection. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employee is required to take an initial forklift license test and will be observed at least every three years to maintain license. Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud and hearing protection is mandatory in all parts of the facility except offices, break rooms and warehouse. Employee will be exposed to variation of temperature from ambient air temperature to -20o F.
