Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping and receiving and improve warehouse efficiency. This fully onsite, first-shift role runs 6am–5:45pm Monday through Thursday with a rotating weekend schedule every other week.

You will load/unload, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, scan and shelf items, and perform data entry in inventory systems.

• Maintain stockroom and storage areas; merge stock to improve space usage.
• Label materials under required procedures.
• Audit warehouse inventory reports using physical checks for accuracy.

About the role

As a CBRE Material Handler, you’ll provide service and support to the warehouse by handling shipping and receiving tasks.

This job supports the Supply Chain function. They are responsible for improving the efficiency of the organization’s supply chain.

This is a 1st shift opportunity with day hours which are 6am to 5:45pm Monday through Thursday with a rotation of working Friday through Sunday every other week for both shifts (2,2,3 shift rotation) with every other weekend off.

This is a fully onsite role in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

What you’ll do

• Assist with loading and unloading merchandise or material from cars or trucks.
• Will operate manual and motorized ride on pallet jack.
• Help pack and unpack shipments. This includes processing, scanning, and shelving parts, pulling orders, and entering data into the inventory control systems.
• Operating forklift for loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintain clean and safe working environments. Sweep and mop floors.
• Maintain upkeep of stockroom and other storage areas and merge existing stock to improve space usage.
• Perform labeling of materials under required procedures.
• Audit warehouse inventory reports using physical checks to ensure accurate system accounting.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and mentorship.
