Job summary

Atkore in Pendleton, OR is hiring a Material Handler to support packaging finished pipe and ensuring quality checks. Day and night shifts available; you will operate forklifts and other handling equipment, weigh and transport product, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following plant safety rules.

A high school diploma and strong math, interpersonal skills are preferred. Pay is $18.00/hr with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good understanding of basic math required for counting and calculations.
• High attention to detail, time management and organization.
• Must be adaptable to changes and able to handle multiple demands calmly.

Responsibilities

• Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities.
• Perform quality checks and ensure customers receive a quality product.
• Weigh and transport finished product and cut crate boards to length.
• Operate material handling tools (forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain a safe workspace.
• Follow plant safety rules and wear PPE; assist with cleaning and maintenance.
